Nordic Candle is a home based, online business and at this time we are confident we will be able to conduct business in a safe manner. Sometimes we feel we’ve been social distancing long before it had a name, working in our home workshop. We continually monitor the CDC, federal and state guidelines to assure we are operating in a safe manner for both our customers and ourselves. We rely on the US Post Office to deliver our packages and do not anticipate disruption of services.

We can’t help reflect on the emotional and economic impact the COVID-19 pandemic will have on our friends and customers throughout the world. Supporting each other is more important than ever. We commit to supporting businesses that have had to suspend operations or drastically modify them for the time being. Buying groceries from our local stores, ordering take out from our neighborhood restaurants and shopping online from boutique shops that we love to frequent. We feel this is the most impactful approach we can take.

Optimism and community is what will get us through the upcoming weeks and months. While we might not be gathering in groups, we do have a unique opportunity to call a friend, start a new hobby, play a game. Let’s get creative.
